Maen y Bardd Burial Chamber
Maen y Bardd is a beautiful structure in a beautiful location high above the Conwy Valley. It is a fine example of a neolithic burial chamber (circa 3500 BC) and sits up above Rowen with excellent views across the valley. It is accessed via an ancient trackway that runs past many interesting historic features.
This attraction can be easily visited whilst staying in the Conwy Valley, and is 10 miles (16 km) from Betws-y-Coed as the crow flies (straight line distance). See the routeplanner below for a suggested route and estimated journey time.
