Conwy RSPB Reserve
This RSPB bird reserve is situated on the banks of the Conwy estuary, with magnificent views of Snowdonia and Conwy Castle, and there are birds to see at any time of year. Birds can always be seen from the visitor centre, and the RSPB experts can help you spot godwits and shelducks, or any of the more than 200 different species that have been seen at this reserve. There is a network of paths and hides, and guided walks are available.
This attraction can be easily visited whilst staying in the Conwy Valley, and is 13 miles (21 km) from Betws-y-Coed as the crow flies (straight line distance). See the routeplanner below for a suggested route and estimated journey time.
